Ceremony to hand over Mitsubishi Electric’s Industrial Robots & Inauguration of AI Laboratory at the Technical Institute of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH)


Ho Chi Minh City, 24th June 2022, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam (MEVN) and the Technical Institute of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) collaborated to organize the Ceremony to hand over Mitsubishi Electric’s Industrial Robots & Inauguration of AI Laboratory, supporting for the Engineering and Artificial Intelligence courses at HUTECH.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet expressed his joy: “Connecting with corporations and constantly updating, improving the quality of training equipment are crucial objectives of HUTECH in order to build up a highly effective learning environment for students. The advanced equipment that HUTECH received from Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam is a valuable support, helping to enhance students' practical skills, supporting in the learning and researching process, and creating more opportunities for students to be confident and bold after their graduation.”

In this ceremony, HUTECH received MEVN’s most advanced equipment, including 2 Industrial Robots: MELFA RH-3FRH 4- axis and MELFA RV-2FR 6- axis, with a total value of nearly 1.5 billions VND.

Developed by advanced technologies from Japan, Mitsubishi Electric's Industrial Robots have wide applications in many manufacturing industries, with precise programming and operation capabilities. These equipment will be the effective tools to support students in engineering, electrical, electronics and automation courses at HUTECH.

Application of robots in industrial production plants is becoming a trend in the manufacturing industry. The AI ​​Laboratory System sponsored by MEVN is promised to bring effective supports in the learning and researching processes of students at HUTECH Institute of Technology.

This is a remarkable milestone of MEVN's achievements in building up a modern and well-equipped learning environment, creating motivation for HUTECH students as well as the Vietnamese young generation to practice skills and develop themselves. And at the same time, watering to the root of improving industrialization and modernization in Vietnam.
