Mitsubishi Electric Scholarships - Develop the Heat & Refrigeration Engineering Students
On 28th October 2020, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam (MEVN) had awarded 12 scholarships to Heat and Refrigeration Engineering students of the Environmental Engineering Department - National University of Civil Engineering. This is the 4th year that MEVN has accompanied young futures from many universities in Viet Nam with practical supports.
Mitsubishi Electric is one of the world's leading names in the manufacturing, trading of electronic systems and products, contributing to society's sustainable development through green technology. Besides business, MEVN has committed to contribute to the community. In 2016, "Mitsubishi Electric Scholarships" was established to cultivate, nurture and develop the heat and refrigeration talents all over the country, contributing to the development of Vietnam's Heat and Refrigeration Engineering industry.
Mitsubishi Electric Scholarships in National University of Civil Engineering
Accordingly, the Heat & Refrigeration Engineering students with high band scores, outstanding achievements in social activities, competitions, and have not received financial support from any other organizations will be awarded 5,000,000VND/student(1) by Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam.
Had a speech at the ceremony, Mr. Bach Thanh Tung - Deputy Head of HVAC Engineering Department, Air Conditioner Project section - congratulated all students and hoped they would have more achievements in their journey. Besides, he said: "Soon, MEVN will coordinate more closely with the Engineering in Construction field by seminars to introduce Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions, toward a Greener Tomorrow."
Mr. Bach Thanh Tung gave a speech at the scholarship awarding ceremony to the National University of Civil Engineering.
After four years, "Mitsubishi Electric Scholarships" has awarded hundreds of scholarships with more than 2 billion VND. In 2019-2020 the total funding was 820 million VND at 13 universities:

This is an annual activity, a step for young talents in the Heat and Refrigeration Engineering to develop and build a strong Vietnam.
The School board, students of The University of Da Nang - University of Science and Education, and Mitsubishi Electric Viet Nam took memorial pictures.
Besides scholarships, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam also organizes seminars to share the interview experiences and introduce career opportunities and orientations at Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam for graduated students.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Lan – Human Resources Manager from Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam awarded scholarships, shared interview experiences, and career opportunities at Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam for students of Hue Industry College.
Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to participate in the "Mitsubishi Electric Internship Program," which helps them to approach advanced heat-refrigeration technology with experienced experts and engineers from Mitsubishi Electric Viet Nam.
Contributing to the Viet Nam & new generation's development is also our business philosophy in the long term. We will nurture, accompany them and hope they can attribute more for the better Viet Nam.
