Running Towards The Future Of Vietnam's Young Generation


On January 6, 2024, in the Vạn Phuc urban area, Ho Chi Minh City, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam actively participated and accompanied the "Run for Education" event as the Gold Sponsor.

The running event attracted more than 800 runners, delegates, sponsors, and volunteers, creating a meaningful event with the goal of building the future for Vietnamese children in disadvantages and challenging border areas.

During the event, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam not only served as the Gold Sponsor but also provided various exciting experiences for the runners and participants.

The MELFA ASSISTA Robot arm presented sports caps to the runners as a gesture of appreciation for their contributions to the run. Runners received water and experienced Mitsubishi Electric's LX68EM refrigerator.
Runners enjoyed engaging in fun minigames at the booth. Runners happily received gifts from Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam.

The lively and entertaining minigames created an enthusiastic atmosphere, offering an opportunity for runners to learn more about Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam and enjoy meaningful moments.

Specially, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam's Robot Arm made an appearance at the run, symbolizing a "Runner" waving the starting flag, representing the mission of "Automating the World." Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam hopes that through using advanced technology, together, we can build a better future.

Representing Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam, Mr. Vu Long Hai, Head of Corporate Communications, expressed the company's belief and commitment to supporting education during the opening ceremony. He shared, "Since accompanying Teach for Vietnam in 2021, we have established 4 STEM Labs, 3 STEM Gardens, supported teaching expenses for over 32 teachers, and directly impacted more than 3178 students in 7 schools in Tay Ninh, Quang Nam, and Dong Thap provinces."

Mr. Vu Long Hai shared at the opening ceremony of the running event.

He believed that with the contributions of the runners present at the event, the positive impacts would be multiplied many times over.

In this first time organized the Run for Education, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang, CEO of Teach for Vietnam, expressed joy and gratitude for the support from all participants, sharing meaningful impact figures. Specifically, since its establishment in 2016, Teach for Vietnam has reached over 36,000 students in 4 provinces, improving academic results, capabilities, and inspiring students to pursue their dreams. The organization also supported over 3000 teachers, 2000 parents, and more than 60 local administrators, collectively driving innovative changes toward an equal and quality education for all Vietnamese children, especially those in challenging rural areas.

The run also featured the presence of the 2nd Runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam, Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Dang, as the brand ambassador.

She shared: "I always have trust and try to support community projects, especially in education, for the positive impact they bring to us. I hope that in the future, we will collaborate on more similar activities, bringing joy to schools for the students."

Companying with the run, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam believes that each step taken by the participating runners will contribute to brightening the future of students in difficult rural areas. We hope this is an opportunity for everyone to contribute to the development of education, reinforcing the love of studying spirit, one of the core values of the Vietnamese people.

Run for Education - Chạy vì Giáo dục

"Run for Education" is a special campaign organized by Teach for Vietnam. The campaign aims to spread the spirit of personal health care and connect the sports-loving community with education.

The program aims to raise 2 billion VND from both individuals and businesses. This amount will be used to continue building a comprehensive education system for over 4,000 students in 15 public schools in Quang Nam and Dong Thap, helping students access English, STEM, and entrepreneurial education.

With just 300,000 VND, each participant is not only improving their health but also contributing to building a future for 30 students in difficult border areas in Dong Thap and Quang Nam.
