Building a Sustainable Future for children in rural areas

Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam, accompanies Teach for Vietnam, to create a sustainable future not only through technology, but also through education.


With the belief that education is the foundation of sustainable development, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam (MEVN) has been accompanying the Teaching for Vietnam organization on the journey of bringing knowledge to difficult lands – where children are hungry to learn and grow day by day.

From 2021 to mid-2024, the talking numbers mark the positive impact that MEVN and its partners have created:

  • 3,178 students have improved their learning conditions, especially in STEM subjects, English and entrepreneurship education.
  • 32 teachers have received intensive training, spreading knowledge to thousands of other students.
  • 4 STEM Labs and 3 STEM gardens were born in 7 secondary schools – new learning spaces, stimulating creative thinking.

Schools have begun to integrate STEM programs into teaching and organize many practical and lively extracurricular activities, helping children have the opportunity to access new technology and develop their thinking and creative abilities.

Not only that, MEVN is also the gold sponsor of the "Run For Education 2023", accompanying to raise funds and spread inspiration to thousands of people through social networks and community activities.

Continuing this journey to light up the future, in the 1st semester of the 2024-2025 school year, MEVN continues to bring many new values at the Que An Secondary School and Que Phong Secondary School, Que Son District, Quang Nam Province:

  • 91 students are more confident with English subjects.

  • Linh, the girl who used to be shy, now confidently stands in front of the presentation class in English.
  • Nam, a student with the creative idea of "green seeding calendar", has entered the district-level startup competition.
  • Minh, a student who successfully built a water filtration system and won the second prize in the STEM challenge at school.
